Peru

Sign at polling station identifying  parking zone reserved for citizens with disabilitiesDuring the Spring of 2000, IFES provided technical and financial support to Aproddis, a Peruvian disability NGO, enabling it to undertake an election observation campaign involving over 300 citizens with disabilities. This effort also included the development of voter education materials for television and in print, and the developing of training materials for election observers with visual impairments. (Funded by IFES under grants from Sweden and Finland).
