- Article 57-1 states, “Voting machiens msut be of a design approved by order of the Minister of the Interior and must satisfy the following conditions...Permit handicapped voters to vote in an autonomous fashion, regardless of the type of handicap.”
- Article 62-2 states, “Polling sites and voting techniqeus must be accessible to disabled persons, regardless of the type of disability, including physical, sensory, mental or psychological conditions set by decree.”
- Article 64 states, “Any elector affected by a disability which makes it impossible for him to slip his ballot into the envelope and to then place it in the ballot box, or that makes it impossible for him to perate the voting machine, is authorized to be assisted by an elector of his choice.”

- Article 71 states, “Can exercise, at their demand, the right to vote by proxy...Electors who attest, on their honor, that due to reasons of professional obligation, handicap, health reasons, or due to the type of assistance provided to a person who is sick ir incapacitated; that it is impossible for them to be present in the commune in which they are registered on polling day or that they cannot participate in polling despite their presence in the commune.”
