General Right to Vote
Constitution:
(5 September 1998)
• Article 6 states, "The organs of State power at all levels, from the county People's Assembly to the SPA, are elected on the principle of universal, equal and direct suffrage by secret ballot."
• Article 89 states, "The SPA [Supreme People's Assembly] is composed of deputies elected on the principle of universal, equal and direct suffrage by secret ballot."
• Article 132 states, "The LPA [Local People's Assembly] consists of deputies elected on the principle of universal, equal and direct suffrage by secret ballot."

Specific Inclusion of People with Disabilities
Constitution:

• Article 76 states, "Revolutionary fighters, the families of revolutionary and patriotic martyrs, the families of soldiers of the People's Army and disabled enjoy the special protection of the State and society."
