Morocco

General Right to Vote
Constitution:
(1992)
• Article 8 states: "Men and women shall enjoy equal political rights. Any citizen of age enjoying his or her civil and political rights shall be eligible to vote."

Exclusion Based on Disability
Electoral Law:
(1997)
• Article 21 states: "Denial of voting rights due to incapacity by the commission will only take place within sight of a copy of the condemnation by a judge acquired by the authorities."
• Article 122 states: "The voters respond by "yes" and "no" by means of different colors."

Promotes Access
Electoral Law:
(1997)
• Article 62 states: "The voting bureau should bring all the assistance necessary to permit handicapped voters to vote."
