  • Article 7 states, “The right to vote is direct or indirect. It is universal, free, equal and secret. According to the conditions defined by law, electors are Nigerians of both genders, of age eighteen or older on election day, or minors who have been emancipated minors, who enjoy their civil and political rights.”
