In February 2017, the National Election Commission of Liberia (NEC) and development partners such as the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) produced posters to encourage persons with disabilities and other marginalized groups to register to vote in the October 2017 elections.
