The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) in Kenya and the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) produced a series of videos on the electoral process. The transcript of the video on election results, which shows a voter who uses a wheelchair entering the polling station, is below.

(Transcript begins)

(music plays)

(baby cries)

(knock on door)

James: Demaris. Demaris! Wake up!

Demaris: Ah, James, you mean it’s you?

James: Yes, it’s me! Come and let’s go vote. You registered, or have you forgotten.

Demaris: How can I forget that? Today is a very important day to me, my child and all the youth. Here, carry my child so that I can call Jane and Jesh.

James: Let me also call Peter and Johnny because Peter will come with Johnny. He helps him push the wheelchair. Today we must all vote.
