In 2019, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), with support from the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), the United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), produced posters and radio spots to encourage persons with disabilities and other marginalized groups to vote in the November 2019 governership elections in Kogi and Bayelsa states.
