Article 3 states:
Voters are Ivorian nationals of both sexes and people with acquired Ivorian citizenship by naturalization or marriage, aged eighteen years of age, enrolled on the electoral role, enjoying their civil and political rights, and being in no cases incapacitated under the law.
Article 33:
Suffrage is universal, free, equal and secret. All Ivorian nationals of both sexes eighteen years old at least and possessing their civil and political rights, are electors within the conditions determined by the law.
