Article 139, section 1 states:

Polling stations meet in public buildings, preferably schools, or seats of municipalities that offer the necessary conditions of space, security, and access.

 

Article 213, section 2 states:

They can also vote in advance...

  • (a) Any voter who because of illness are committed in a hospital.

 

Article 215, section 1 states:

Until the 20th day before the election, a voter may send to the mayor’s office proof of eligibility to vote, photocopies of identification, voter card, proof of impairment (confirmed by the hospital), and location of the hospital. If found eligible, the mayor of the district then sends the voter the proper documentation to vote.

(1) The elderly are entitled to special protection of the family, society, and public authorities.

(2) …The role of public authorities, includes...

  • (a) promote the economic, social and cultural conditions that facilitate the adequate participation of the elderly in social and family life,
  • (b) Raise awareness in society of the duties of respect and solidarity for the elderly, promoting and supporting charitable organizations,
  • (c) Ensuring the elderly priority assistance...and the elimination of architectural barriers and other access barriers to public and social facilities...
